  Wonderful place to eat and relax. Proprietor and staff were friendly and enteracted with diners genuinely. Observed proprietor handle a customer's request for a replacement entree with curtesy and a "no question asked" attitude. They truly wanted the customers to enjoy their experience. Highly recommend to those whom prefer regional food prepared with care!!

  First time to New Orleans and we found this gem. The manager is super friendly and took time to talk with us about local food and best choices. We went twice during our trip because we knew it would be good. Everything was delicious and fresh. All their condiments were made fresh and from scratch in their own kitchen. The fried chicken was amazing and the fried catfish was incredible. Obviously a location locals go to as it's off the tourist beaten path. Glad we found the place.

  I went here with my husband and father in law. They have both been before but I have not. Everything we had was amazing. They are a very popular spot but the wait times on food are no different than a chain restaurant. The food cooked here is actually seasoned, and cooked with love. Waitress was friendly. My husband had the eggplant & seafood casserole and he had no complaints whatsoever. You can definitely tell it was individually cooked and not scooped out out a vat. I had the eggplant Parmesan and it was absolutely perfect. Definitely coming back here as soon as possible.

  This is a very relaxing and friendly place to eat! The food is delicious and they have a bar area! I recommend going before 5 pm or you will be waiting in line for a while!
